Where do we start? Well, I suppose from the beginning...

R grew up in Manahawkin which is a hop, skip and a jump from LBI. Beach days were just another Tuesday. Growing up, everyone surfed, had "summer friends", swam daily in the ocean and at one point or another, slept on the beach (apparently that's illegal, so folks, don't try this during your stay). Little did she know that one day she would meet a man who would sweep her off her feet, away to New York and change her view of the beach forever. Once she left, she realized how special not only the beach is, but how incredibly lucky she was to have been able to call Long Beach Island "home". In the years since, R has traveled all over the world and through those travels, no place compared to the wholesome ideal island that is LBI.
Now meet P. He grew up in New York and has lived there his whole life (Not the city, slightly upstate in the Hudson Valley). He met R and lured her away from this
beautiful place. A few short years later, he proposed. But where to get married?
To R's surprise, he suggested LBI (If you're looking, Cedar Bonnet is the place!).
By now, P had fallen in love with LBI too. What's not to love? After they had
the most magical wedding ever, the hunt began.
They dreamed to find a home to call their own on LBI. They looked high, they looked low but a place for them was a no show. Everything R knew went out the window. She was a local. Notice that keyword?- was. She now came back to this island each year to visit family with her NY license plates and a completely different view. She came back to stay there- as a vacation. But where to stay on the island? They rented all over for a
week or more every summer, carefully narrowing down the best places. As their family grew and they had little H, convenience was key, but without compromising on
quality and location. Either way, far up or down the island with traffic upon arrival
was out, and ice cream and a walk in the morning to breakfast was a must.
Fast forward 10+ years and a very patient realtor who has probably shown P+R a million places, they finally found- the one. It was conveniently close to the bridge (goodbye traffic), yet felt exclusively private. Tucked away in a nook down a private driveway, it was a brand new home and they wouldn't change a single thing. The topper? One of the only private beach accesses in all of Ship Bottom.
Yup, that's right, walk to the beach right from the backyard.
Also, within walking distance is some of their favorite restaurants,
breakfast spots, bike rentals, ice cream, mini golf and more - Score!
Now, here is where you come in. With this new found dream home and
their busy schedule, they knew they couldn't spend full summers there.
So, they would rent it, to you! Private yet close to everything you need.
It's a one stop shop for the perfect family vacation you will never forget.
Bonus? Well, R has all the knowledge of a local, including what to do
and where to go, plus the experience of someone visiting on
vacation on LBI who wants to just show up and enjoy the stay.
Beach chairs and a way to get them there? Yup, got em.
Beach badges? Those too.
Restaurant, shopping and excursion recommendations? Only the best.
